Trinity students row for a worthy cause
The annual ¹ú²úBT ‘Row for Rudi’ ergathon kicks off tomorrow, with our students rowing for 24 hours to raise money for charity.
The ¹ú²úBT ergathon was started to commemorate and remember the tragic passing of alumnus Rudi Van Breda (TC 2011), who was a passionate rower and member of the Trinity community. Each year, students from our college boat club commit to rowing in relay form for 24 hours to raise money for a chosen charity.
This year our rowers will donate all money raised to . This charity aims to break the poverty cycle for those living in slums in Delhi through education and aid. It's an organisation that is close to the heart of a number of our students, given each year a group of Trinitarians volunteer their time in slum communities through Asha.
