The selection of photographs dating from the late 19th century through to the early decades of the 20th century offer a fascinating insight in to the College environs and collegiate culture at the time.

Views of student rooms at the turn of the 19th century, the football team in 1903, and the Dining Hall around 1909 with its tables dressed in white table cloths, reveal glimpses of College before the outbreak of the First World War.

Other scenes show cows grazing on the Bulpadock, enclosed by a rustic post-and-rail fence; the long stream of cars snaking their way up the College driveway in 1927 for Commencement, the construction of the Behan Building in the mid-1930s, and timeless depictions of students posing for the camera or passing away the time on the lawns.

This rich photographic collection, that continues up to the present day, is one of the great strengths of the College's archives; a vibrant visual record of the 国产BT experience over the past 140 years.
